Construct True Divided Light Doors with New Router Bit Sets from Amana Tool
Farmingdale, N.Y. – November 17, 2008 – Amana Tool introduces its new two-piece divided light door router bit sets. With the new sets, woodworkers can create strong, attractive divided light doors with real mortise-and-tenon joints. Each set contains two router bits, one for shaping the decorative sticking and a rabbet for the glass and a second bit that cuts the cope and tenon. For assembly of the final door, all of the door frame parts, stiles, rails, muntins and mullions interlock with ¾” long tenons; mullions are ¾” wide.
Both router bits in each set feature a two-flute design. The cutting edge of the bits is made of Amana’s exclusive carbide grade that delivers the highest quality of cut, extended tool life and maximum cutting efficiency.
Amana’s divided light door router bits are ideal for use in handheld and table-mounted routers and deliver superior results on materials ¾” to 1-1/2” thick. Item 55360 is for materials ¾” to 7/8” thick; for materials 7/8” to 1-1/2” thick, use item 55362.
