Amana Tool Launches Unique Furniture Profiles to Replicate Pieces from America’s Past
New line contains popular bit profiles featuring industrial-quality carbide inserts that increase tool life and reduce production costs.
Farmingdale, N.Y. – July 5, 2007 – Amana Tool, manufacturers of industrial-quality tungsten carbide woodworking tools, today announced among the nearly 300 pages in Amana Tool’s latest catalog is a complete new offering of Furniture Profile bits. The new router bits allowwoodworkers to shape a variety of traditional moldings for their next fine furniture project.
The bits shape molding profiles that closely follow examples found on fine antiques from America’s past. There are several base moldings which provide a transition between casework and the feet which support it. There are also bits for shaping the molding on chest lids as well as several styles of furniture trim moldings. Many of the bits are available in different sizes so that woodworkers can easily select a molding profile to fit their next furniture project.
