Amana Tool Announces New Timberline Catalog Offering Hundreds of Products for the Woodworking & Contracting Industries

Expansion of Tool Line Covers Larger Range of Materials and Functions for Woodworking, Carpentry and Contracting Applications

Farmingdale, N.Y. – September 17, 2008 – Amana Tool, manufacturers of industrial-quality carbide-tipped and solid carbide woodworking tools, today announced immediate availability of its new Timberline® catalog featuring hundreds of new products for the woodworking, carpentry and contracting industries. The new catalog features dozens of new items including diamond saw blades, slotted-drive system (SDS) drills and a new line of jigsaw blades ideal for budget-conscious users. The Timberline brand is comprised of more than 500 affordable, professional-quality router bits, saw blades, boring and drilling bits, hand tools and accessories.

Were excited about adding to our already sizeable product line with the addition of hundreds of new products to the recent catalog, said Frank Misiti, Technical Director of Amana Tool. With the newly expanded Timberline product line, we show a strong commitment to our customers needs, with contractors and woodworkers now having the tools to cover a larger range of materials and functions.

The new Timberline diamond saw blades and carbide-tipped drill bits allows users to work with harder, abrasive materials such as masonry, stone, ceramic tiles and cast iron. Amana has also expanded the Timberline offerings for woodworkers with new drill bits, countersinks, plug cutters and a new line of jigsaw blades. The new catalog also includes screw drilling bits such as Phillips head and Torx® in a number of different lengths.

Amana developed its Timberline products in 1993 in response to budget-conscious woodworkers looking for high-quality thin-kerf saw blades at an affordable price. Each tool is made of industrial-quality steel and micro-grain carbide, and the Timberline saw blades are skillfully heat-treated and fully tensioned to provide users with smooth cutting performance. The Timberline router bits feature the latest in anti-kickback design technology, which limits cutting depths and ensures that the bits are safer to use.

Timberline router bits, saw blades, boring and drilling bits, accessories and more are sold through authorized dealers. For a listing of dealers or to request a free catalog, visit www.timberline-amana.com
