Speed and feed for the 40784

You never mentioned the material you were cutting. If your cutting hard or soft wood or plywood I would say a starting RPM of 18,000 and a feed rate of 40” per minute with a chip load of 0.003” per tooth. For MDF a starting RPM of 18,000 and a feed rate of 80” per minute with a chip load of 0.005” per tooth. Adjust your speed and or feed rare accordingly up or down in 10% increments to your desired finish.
