I'm making a pie safe for an individual and they asked that instead of using punched tin door panels, if I could build it with wood raised panels to match their existing cabinets. They provided a picture of a Shaker style door with an edge treatment on the rail & stiles matching the pattern on your new Shaker bits set no.55426. Is it possible to swap the guide bearings on this set in order to add another 1/16" to the tenon length for added strength?

Increasing the tenon length 1/16" will add an insignificant amount to the strength of the door. Instead, I suggest that you use a deep mortise-and-tenon joint. Shape the door edge, or "sticking" profile with the Amana no.49514 Corner Rounding bit and the panel groove with Amana Tool E-Z Dial no.55500 slot cutter. Then cut miters on the sticking before assembly. Take a look at this article on the Amana Tool website for a complete step-by-step description of this method:
Aterwards, shape the door panel with the Amana Tool no.54133 Shaker raised panel bit.
