Hello Expert,
I will be using your HSS 1644 (aluminum cutting spiral) bit on 3/8" aluminum plate. At what speed should the bit turn, and how much material can be removed per pass? What would you recommend as a lubricant/cutting fluid? Thank you.

I would recommend a starting RPM of 2,300 and a feed rate of 27” per minute. A minimum quality lubricant (fine mist) would work well. Please adjust your speed and or feed rate accordingly to prevent buildup of material.
