Hard wearing steel body complete with tungsten carbide knives and scorer for improved finish. Suitable for producing various thickness grooves and slots in softwood, hardwood and man-made boards (with or without coating). Cutting width can be adjusted in 0.1mm steps by using supplied spacer rings. Replaceable inserts ensure a constant cutting diameter and finish quality. We need to understand the correct programming feed rate and RPM for tool-path in V carve of the tool RC-2340 FOR CUTING finish MDF PANEL.

The maximum RPM of the tool is 12,000. Depending on the depth of cut and the wood(hardwood, softwood…etc) you will need to adjust your speed and or feed rate accordingly.

This tools cutting direction allows to cut in a horizontal Y axis in both directions left and right.

A starting Feed Rate of 250"/min with a maximum RPM of 12,000.
It can work both directions, you would get better surface with “CLIMB” cut, but it will also give you slight increase in abrasion.
